Good Lord I Despise My Day Job

My kids locked me out of my ipad so I decided to write a blog post to "be productive". So, as the title may suggest, I really hate my day job right now, I'm a physical therapist assistant.

There's plenty of good things that I like about work: I love my co-workers, my patients are hilarious and absurd, and my hours are good and flexible, I get to witness someone go from being bedridden to independence. What I hate is incompetent management. I know this is probably the case across the board, to a certain extent, when it comes to medical facilities. At least I think so since the only other medical facility I've worked at were during clinicals.

It's the backstabbing, the power tripping, the laziness, the unwillingness to learn how things work, the lack of interest to listen to those who are actually doing the work, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. As a manager, or supervisor, you are the leader of a team. If the team sucks...uuhhh...that's your fault! It's because you're a terrible leader. OR....(I just thought of this)...the institution is hiring really crappy staff (not me of course, I'm perfect, haha).

Anyways, I'm stuck here until I can make money some other way which is really difficult since most of my energy is devoted TO MY DAY JOB!!! Oh geez, why can't I be a trust fund baby. I'm sure I'll be one if the poor slugs working the fields after AI takes over😂😕
